I created this piece during one of my long stays in Iceland, while hiking through the hidden valleys of Thórsmörk. The light rolled gently across the moss-covered cliffs, revealing shades of green you only see after rain.
Below, a narrow river traced its way through the canyon — quiet and steady, shaping the landscape inch by inch. The air was damp and alive, filled with the scent of moss and volcanic earth.
I’ve spent years returning to places like this — remote, untouched, where time slows down, and the land begins to breathe in silence.
